Happy New Year...Rest
Wow! What a year 2012 has been When we started our On-Ramp January 3rd last year we had 12 athletes. Today I can proudly say you are 100 strong! And your numbers showed this week. Amazing! I am flattered and humbled you are all apart of this family we call CFB. It has been a roller coaster ride as we started with 3 classes a day in Sports/Ortho to a full time box here. We now have 9 CrossFit L-1 certified trainers under our roof. I am so proud of what we have and are building here. Not just a place for health and wellness, but community. I say it probably ad nauseam but we truly have something very special. I look forward to 2013 and what it's going to bring us; growth, bigger families (we currently have 3 expectant mothers) CrossFit Kids, CF Football, CF Endurance, expansion of the property, and hopefully word is getting out about your success, expansion of our athlete base.
We are so excited about what 2013 is going to bring us. We will open the year with at bang by starting the 60 day Paleo Challenge. It will be difficult to start, but once you get through the first week it's pretty easy. Remember, only 1 cheat meal a week...Repeat: 1 cheat meal not cheat day. February 2 we will have our competition with CrossFit DogHouse. This should be a good time with old neighborhood friends. Come March we find ourselves entrenched in the CrossFit Games Open. We have been prepping some athletes in hopes of getting them to regionals, but we encourage everyone to sign up and compete. We believe we have a real opportunity to send a couple of individuals to Regionals and quite possibly a team.
We have a request for all of you...We would like you to write out a Skill/Strength New Year's Resolution and hand it over to John. Something you would really like to accomplish this year. We will monitor and work with you to assure this goal is met sooner then later. Think of it as an assured check off the New Years Resolution list.
